HOW TO INSTALL PROCORE PLUS LUXURY VINYL PLANK [LVP] FLOORING

This post is sponsored by ProCore Surfaces, but all opinions and statements are 100% my own.
I will never recommend products to my readers that I have not tried, tested and stand behind.

Patience paid off and the time has finally come to remove the DIY “band aids” I’ve done with paint to our house over the last 7 years.

YES - we are doing a complete interior overhaul! The only thing staying is the luxury vinyl plank flooring we did previously that you can catch in this blog post.

The Saltillo downstairs was in really poor shape when we bought the house and we’ve been patiently waiting for the day we could replace it.

We live in a tri-level home and wanted to keep that basement feel on the lowest level so we were originally tossing around the idea of concrete floors; however…

After living with our ProCore Luxury Vinyl flooring for over a year in the rest of the house, we decided to continue it throughout! It fits our lifestyle perfectly in terms of durability, it is far more cost effective, it’s SO easy to install yourself and we love the overall aesthetic plus warmth this English Grove Oak color provides.

Visit this blog post for more information on the process of how and why we initially selected ProCore’s luxury vinyl planks, and this blog post for tools needed along with important details on the installation process highlighted in the following video.

I have to admit that my favorite part of this remodel so far is the guest bathroom and laundry/mud room. I am thrilled that ProCore’s LVP is waterproof so it can be installed in wet areas like bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, etc.

It brings an element of warmth to the space that you can’t get through tile (nope, not even with wood look tile!).

My husband loves the flooring so much in the family room that he requested no area rug because he doesn’t want it covered.

I had a really hard time with that because, to me, rugs are like the earrings to a great outfit that just pull everything together. He is such a patient man that gives me free reign to design and decorate how I want, so we compromised with a 4x6 faux fur rug that bring a little coziness to the space but lets our beautiful luxury vinyl plank flooring take the stage.

No rug was a no-brainer in the office area and he was thrilled that I didn’t put up a fight on that! ;)

We haven’t had any regrets in our decision to install ProCore luxury vinyl planks throughout our home, and have recommended it to anyone and everyone that mentions redoing their floors!

Happy DIY'ing!
